I don’t know what drives me more anger or tolerance? I watch the news and the devastated family of the young murdered boys. I look at their mother’s controlled fury that chokes back her tears. I hear their father’s words ‘Their faces were unidentifiable, their bodies soaked in blood’. I think of that censored video again and am engulfed in anger! I feel like whipping those criminals, beating them with the same clubs they used, thrashing them and dragging their bodies just the way they did. The next second I calm myself and think, I am not like them, I am not that cruel or heartless. I could never hurt a living being such. But then again fury screams in my head. I don’t know if I should control it or let it loose. I think of Ramadan and our Prophet’s (PBUH) teachings, I wonder if Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) would have kept silent and tolerated or sentenced the criminals to death as it is ordered in the Shariá. I don’t know the answer, don’t know what to do…I might if I ask, but at the moment I am caught. Caught in what is right to feel and what is right to do. I wish to take revenge for those innocent lives dead but hesitate thinking I am not like them…so what is right? How should I think? What should I think? How do you think, what do you think?

Seems you are confused about what should be done exactly. But bad luck is we can’t do anything even if we want to do. I strongly in favor that the punishments of Police officers and those people who participated in that, should hanged in the chowk where they did the criminal offense. For changing in any system you have to cruel and give worst punishments for a long run betterment’s. So no one can even think to do it again.
I concur…BUT I WANT TO BE THE ONE TO DO IT!!!!…i despise them for what they did and i wont settle until i SEE justice done. i want to watch a video of those people being beaten to death and hung upside down too! the fury of my heart wont calm until i see it.

My Qura’an teaches me the same thing, and since ALLAH sent the Bible before the Qura’an with Prophet Eissa, i should be expecting teh same thing. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a living examples of what ALLAH has asked from us, tolerance..i’ll go on relating an couple of incidents i interprettef from the Qura’an, may ALLAH forgive me for mistakes.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was being stoned by the people of madina, his body bled and his shoes were filled wih his blood. The Angel Jibraeil came to him and asked “O Beloved Prophet of ALLAH (PBUH) would like it if i smash them beneath a wall?” Prophet Muhammad replied ” No Jibraeil, I am ALLAH’s messenger and i give the message of ALLAH. I pray to ALLAH may they get some guidance” and so he prayed for them. That is tolerance, and far more than any of us can do in reality, but our messenger (PBUH) did, because his heart was eternally pure.
Another incident:
Everyday as Prophet Muhammad would walk to his house, a non-muslim lady would throw trash over him, at his doorstep but Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) didn’t mind. One day when he saw that she hadn’t thrown trash he wondered why. He found out that she was ill, so he went to give his condolences to her and took her some food. She later converted to a muslim. I wish i was such a muslim with such tolerance. Ameen
Prophet Essa is our prophet too and we believe in the bible ALLAH sent down to Essa (not the altered one now-a-days). Prophet Essa is a prophet not God. ALLAH is The One and Only, and ALLAH has been giving us guidance and messages through HIS chosen prophets since the beginning of time, and Muhammad (PBUH) is HIS last prophet. We are all taught the same things, but we should come together as one believers and believe in ALLAH’s Last Messenger (PBUH) and HIS Last book The Holy Qura’an. 🙂 i hope you would too.
